Rock 101 and FUSION I, II

OBJECTIVES

Students will be able to:

·        Understand, and begin memorizing FORM, chords, and rhythms for the Winter Concert.

·        Rehearse Winter Concert music with peers, with limited assistance from Instructor.

6^th Grade:  Working on “WHO” songs for winter concert.

·        Preparing “Long Live Rock” for concert.  “Modifying lyrics w/o changing the mood of the song.

7^th Grade:  Working on winter concert music.

·        Working on second song for concert.

·        Review and isolate spots in the first song that need work.

8^th Grade:  Working on new songs for concert.

·        Paying tribute to the “Power Trio” and to the late Jack Bruce, of Cream.
